Patriots: Traditions and Today, a university tour, will highlight the history and showcase the growth of George Mason University. The historical tour welcomes Mason faculty, staff, students, alumni, local community members and leaders, VIPs, current and potential donors. Prospective students and their families should connect with the Office of Admissions. Guests will have the opportunity to see George Mason University as an innovative and diverse campus with rich and growing traditions. The walking tour is approximately 90 minutes and a 1/2 mile. Guests will be led by a volunteer docent. Attendees will receive a map or brochure of the campus and informational items.

Tour Schedule:
Currently, tours are available to be given by request or during the months of April, May, June, July, August, September, October, and November. Tours can also be provided during major and special events on campus such as Welcome Week, Alumni Weekend, Family Weekend, and Homecoming.

Meeting Location
Tours begin and end at the George Mason Statue, next to the Johnson Center.
Registration
Registration is required at least 3 business days in advance. To register for a tour session, complete the form and email to gmutoday@gmu.edu or call (703) 993-1008. A minimum of six attendees is required for the tour to be held.
Special Requests
Special requests for tours are required at least five - seven (5-7) business days in advance. To make a special request, complete the special request form and click the submit by email button; save and email to gmutoday@gmu.edu; print and fax to (703) 993-1009; or call (703) 993-1008. Last minute requests will be reviewed on a space and staff available basis.
Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be considered for a walking tour.
